About Us
We are a small, Portland, Oregon suet maker, however, we ship all over the United States and Canada. We have spent years perfecting our recipes and we know that when you try NePo Suet, you will see why we (and the birds) say it's the yummiest suet on Earth! Our suet is handcrafted in our kitchen in Portland, Oregon. Most of our ingredients are purchased from small, local vendors and we make our suet in very small batches to insure the highest quality is attained.
 
If you live in the Portland area, or are going to be in town, please feel free to contact us to schedule a pick-up of your suet. If you live outside of the Portland area, we will be happy to ship NePo Suet anywhere you would like us to!

Company History
We have been making suet for our own yard for many years now. We tinkered with the recipes and ingredients for a long time, until we ended up with the recipe that we use today.  
 
It has been suggested by many that you should do what you love. To make your hobby your life's work. So, we started our own suet company.
 
We started by studying different suet brands and how they were manufactured. Then, we started asking the experts about what was best for the birds. How could we make the best suet on the market? What were the best ingredients? We then took all that information into our kitchen... and the result? The best, highest quality, handcrafted suet cakes on the market!
About our Suet
We think (and our customers agree) that NePo Suet is better than other suet on the market for many reasons. Here are just a few:
 
  • We render, by hand, the suet multiple times to make sure that we get rid of all the impurities. NePo Suet will not spoil in the summertime.
  • NePo Suet cakes last much longer than other suet blends on the market. NePo Suet cakes are 13oz-15oz which is much heavier than most other suet cakes you will find, yet they fit in any suet cage! They definitely give you more bang for the buck!
  •  NePo Suet is handcrafted in 24 cake batches. What this means for you is that each and every cake is inspected for quality and consistency, and if it's not right, we won't sell it to you!
  •  Less packaging means more savings and less waste! We use minimal packaging to protect the suet and keep it fresh. That means that we don't pass the cost of big packaging on to you and it's much better for the environment!
  • Here at NePo Suet we strive to have the least amount of impact on the environment. We recycle everything possible. We reuse our forming trays. We use very little packaging. We use recycled materials in our kitchen. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
